The following steps will guide you through the Enrollment process to setup your Mac device and get ready for your business. The text will be provide by Workplace Operations & Analytics. Please contact your local IT Service if you have questions.

Select your Country

Select your Country.

Confirm with Continue.

Optional Page: This page will be displayed if you select a different keyboard layout and language settings.

If you want to add additional Language Layouts you can select Customize Settings.

Confirm with Continue.

Accessability

If you like to setup Accessability Feature, please select the Icon displayed in the screenshot.

Confirm with Continue.

Select your Wifi

Select your Wifi to connect your device to the internet and communicate to our Management Server. You may have to enter a password to connect your Wifi.

Confirm with Continue.

Remote Management

Please note: If the page Remote Management does not appear, please contact your local IT Service and check the DEP registration. Additonal you have to reset your device by using the recovery and start the enrollment process again.

Confirm with Continue.

Login with your Credentials

Please enter your Credentials.

Confirm with Connect.

Setup your local Account

• Full Name: Firstname + Lastname (Example: Sam Appleseed).
• Account name: The account name will be prefilled from previous login (Example: appleseed).
• Password: The password will be prefilled from previous login.
• Hint: Please leave the hint blank because of security reasons.

Confirm with Continue.

Location Services

Please disable the Location Services.

Confirm with Continue.

Confirm your choice with Don’t Use.

Timezone

Set your timezone according to your current location. The timezone for german locations is Berlin – Germany.

Confirm with Continue.

Touch ID

You can setup Touch ID now but you can skip and to setup Touch ID later.

Confirm with Set Up Touch ID later.

Confirm your choice with Continue.

Choose your Look

Please select your prefered appearance.

Confirm with Continue.

Mac Registration

Confirm with Register Your Mac.

Please select your Company.On the bottom side of your device you will find your label with the Asset Tag.

Confirm with Register Your Mac.

The configuration will take about 10 minutes, depending on your internet connection.

Finish the Registration

Confirm with Restart.

Disk encryption

After you logged into your local account you have to enable the disk encryption File Vault.

Confirm with Enable Now.

In the progress bar window you can press OK to close the window. If you do nothing, it will close automatically.

First steps

Almost there! Before you can start, you should install a few applications from the Self Service App at the bottom of your Dock.

If the Self Service App is not present in your Dock, you can open Spotlight Search with cmd ⌘ + Space and start the Self Service App.

The following programs will help you with the first steps:

• Ivanti Secure VPN
• Microsoft Office
• Microsoft Teams

You will find additional application in the Self Service App or in IT4YOU Service Catalog.
